I just got this installed and i was wondering if everybody's Z1 was like this... whenever the voice command comes up while I listen to the radio..there is no muting or volume decrease whatsoever. is this normal?

No, should be muting

There is a setting for the ammount of muting, at -10db it, to me, doesn't really seam like it's muting at all when the radio is loud. I had to go into the settings and set it to off (your choices are -10db, -20db or off).
