I can select aux on the menu, and I have a Y type connection wire that plugs right into my aux inputs in the back of the Z2. Once I select it no sound comes out of the speakers. The device (Zune) is on and volume turned up. Can anyone please help me.
Can't get aux input to play (Z2)
You have it plugged into the A/V input, not aux. Turn on the A/V input in the menu and try it again
Nope, tried that. It is not even sensing the A/V input after it is turned on. I can't switch to A/V input when selecting the source.
you need to go into audio settings and set the aux input to "A/V" instead of "off". Then you can select it.
I went to AV Settings then System settings then AV input and AUX input and tried both Video and EXT for the AV input also tried on and off for the AUX input. There is no "A/V" for the AUX input just on and off, and I already tried that.
Set Aux input to "on". Also, verify your y-caable by connecting to your TV.
Cable is good. I have tried 2 different ones also.
Has anyone resolved this issue? I'm having the same problem.
I bought an RCA to 3.5mm cable, plugged into the Audio in port for an MP3 player to connect and plug in the device... I have the AV input set to on, but it is in red telling me it's not available.
I don't get anything out of it. I have a Z1 chassis that has been upgraded to Z3 specs... is there a simple 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable that may plug directly into the back of the head unit... or is something messed up?
When I select source, I can get to AUX, but nothing comes out.
