Ipod 6th generation 120gb and video showing on the d3
hate to say it, but apple likes to change the specs on the ipods all the time. you would need to get a video ipod (gen 5 or 5.5, before the "classic") to play videos on the d3.
there is an alternative....you have to downgrade your 6th gen ipod to 1.0.2 firmware and only then will you be able to play videos

you need the firmware and signatures files,
i might be able to find them off my itunes, well have to see...
and then you gotta turn shuffle off on your ipod, its a pain but i do it
Sorry for the bump, but this is the thread that came up in my search. I am looking to upgrade from my 5.5G Video iPod to a Classic. I read that thread and it seems that 1.0.2 firmware fixes it unless you put more than 2 or so videos on it. Is this true? And to clarify, ONLY the video function is broken right? I can have an iPod Classic on a D3 with newest firmware and listen to my music just fine?
