Anybody know how to convert maps from Garmin to Pioneer? Better yet...anybody know what GPS system the AVIC 900BT uses?

Sorry BorisM....new to the forum. I just installed my 900bt unit and I'm trying to get maps for my region. I searched the forum, but I'm not seeing the discussions you mentioned. Maybe my parameters were wrong. Can you point me in the right direction?

From what I understand, The F-series units run IGo 8.0 software...

Exactly. This is iGO 8.0 so if you there are iGO maps for your area you can get them on the unit...
