Does anyone have an AVIC and a remote starter for their vehicle? I have a 2008 Tacoma, put the remote starter in last week. Everything works fine but when I use the remote start to start the truck when I get in the AVIC is on the main screen all the time, even if I was playing the iPOD. The iPOD still plays when I start the vehicle so it isn't a big deal, I just thought it was weird???

I have a remote start and it's pretty much the same thing... AVIC starts with main screen, and playing the last source. I believe this is as designed.

YEP, same thing here... Never bothered me too much.

My screen always defaults to the last screen it was on. Ipod, or map. Although it will stop at the Map warning screen, of course.
