CNDV-80MT can't do address search or POI search

After installing the CNDV-80MT downloaded from jlong, I can no longer do an address search. The disc updated fine and everything, but when I click on 'address search' or "POI search" it pauses for a second and then returns back to the GPS main navigation screen. Does anyone know what could be the problem? Thanks.

I am kinda having the same problem.

I am new to using these pioneer head units.

When I installed the 2008 maps I am not able to do an search with the east coast dvd, but with the west cost I can. When the east coast is inserted the buttons are unclickable.

Any thoughts?

O yea this is when I am stopped.

I bought a burned copy off ebay and mine is doing the same. I contacted place I bought disc from and there sending me out a new copy. Hopefully this fixes it. 2007 software disc was also burned and bought from ebay and it worked great. Good Luck!

BURN THE FILE ONTO A DVD-R DL

I HAD THAT SAME ISSSUE WHEN I BURNED THE IMAGE TO A DVD+R DL
