I got a new LG Dare a couple months ago and the D3 doesnt seem to like it. Everything works fine initially then, while im in a call the mic drops out and the sound becomes garbled for about 15 sec and then it'll come back to working fine. It will do this off and on pretty much every call. Anyone see anything like this before?

Surely you've done the obvious and checked the mic wire to make sure it's not crimped somewhere, or not fully connected?

Other than that IDK. My LG Vu works fine for calls, just not BT audio. :?

I am literally having the exact same problem with my LG Dare BTB200 combo. I guess we can at least narrow it down to being a problem with the Dare as opposed to the bluetooth unit. I guess its just a good reason to get a new phone, the Dare is notorious for having bluetooth problems. Oh well. 8)

I just did a little more research and found this is a common problem. Supposedly you can go to a Verizon store and get firmware update V05 and it will correct this problem. I will let you know if this works for me.

I got the update for mine and it works amazingly now. The only problem I have is that it does not autoconnect. I have to pair and connect every time. Anyone else have this issue with the Dare?

Just took my Dare into the Verizon store and had the firmware upgraded to V06. All bluetooth problems have been corrected. No more garbling. Works great, I am not having the same auto sync issue the previous poster is having.
