I put my D3 in my new 08 FX4 and it has the factory amp and sub so I bought the harness from crutchfeild so the D3 can run the amp and sub but now when I turn the truck on a loud pop comes from the sub... What is this?!?! It scares the crap out of me late at night when I'm half asleep. haha

Put a 1K Ohm resistor on the amp turn on wire. Should fix the problem.

Really....that's odd. IIRC the pop is caused by a jump from the radio and Ive seen this mostly in Ford's, where a 1K Ohm resistor lowers the current sent to the subwoofer hence fixing the pop. But I'm surprised that 1K didn't do it, try a 1.5K or a 2K, and see if it just needed a higher resistance.
