so i will be installing my f700bt into my 2007 mustang monday and i was doing some investigating on weather it will connect (plug in and work right) to the factory sirius module. i cant find any info on this anywhere and of course, the dealership has no idea. i tried looking for a sirius adapter cable that applies to my application and came up empty on that as well. so does anyone know if this will work?

also, i need to connect the avic to an illumination source, but do i use the light switch on/off wire, or the dimmer controlled wire??

No, you need the Pioneer sirius

You will need the Directed unit SCC1 and the Pioneer CDSB10 interface to get your Sirius fix, and as far as the dimmer if you used an installation harness there will be a dimmer wire in there that will work usually orange/white. If you are doing illumination it will be the orange wire on the installation harness, I'm talking about the harness that plugs into the car so we are on the same page
