i hooked up this xm unit to my f90bt and i get nothing ive tried resetting both the xm and the f90 nothing pioneer told me that the f series will not work with older xm boxes is this true because i bought this off someone and if its broken id like to know btw thanks for the info on the bypass works great

Boy, that's an old one. If I remember right that had the old shark fin antanna. That model won't work with the 90. You'll have to get the GEX-P920XM. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/ ... GEX-P920XM
