under vr i cant find a way to change the song by just saying the title of the song i want to play. the manual doesnt say anything about it. is there a hack to do this?

I'm afraid that's not an option. VR can only be used to play by artist/album/genre/playlist.

I have tried saying "Play song" whatever, but it doesn't do anything. I can only assume it's because it would take forever to catalog individual songs as opposed to artist/album/genre.

that sucks. its such a pain to look for an individual song

You can always use the "Show" command and then pick your song.

"Show album" whatever.

"Show artist" whatever.

Then you touch the song you want.
