My unit was working perfectly, I live in ontario canada and its very cold right now -14 but has been all month and the units worked fine...

I was using it all day today and had no issues...

all of a sudden i put in a new cd and was unable to change tracks by touch or by button, access the menu change input or see the map.

the only thing that is working is the volume buttons and the open and close button, the cd will play but i am unable to change songs... just listen from start to finish.

i was sitting in my drive way playing with it and all of a sudden it started working for about 1-2minuites all options and buttons including touch screen worked but, then they stoped again

I'm hoping its just the real cold weather messing with it.

PLEASE HELP!!!

Thank you.

I exsperienced this when changing the LED's in mine...

I learned that the buttons will not work(reset an exception) if the buttons were grounded... in other words, it could be that something touched the actual buttons... pressing on the screen rid of the ground...

There is a good chance of a ground right at the volume buttons...as the touchscreen relies on a ground that is supplied right on top of those buttons...

Just putting that out there...
