your probably going to need to have something fabricated. fiberglass is probably your best option.

hey knutmw I have a Saturn Astra (opel/holden/Vauxhall Astra) as well and I am gonna have the same problem as you in a bit (well later on today when my mounting kit comes in) I was just thinking even if we made one from fiberglass the metal bracket would still be straight would it not? I asked a installer and he told me to get a tilt screen :?

well, if you can make it work, the avic unit can be mounted at up to a 30 degree angle. double check the installation manual, but i think thats what it said.

I had my unit mounted i a shop, because it's -20°C and no garaged:-)

But when the summer is comming, i an going to dismount it and try to find av way to tilt the whole frame. When that is done, I have to make some sort of frame to the part that is outside the dash.

I was thinking maybe getting som black pianocoated plastic an make a pice fit there. And glue it til the metallfram that is on the outside.

But it had been much more easy if it was a prefabrikated frame, that can be tilted.

Sorry for my bad english.
