how come my avic z1 could'nt detect 3D?

I fixed the size of your picture by the way....

And you don't have your VSS or Speed Pulse wire hooked up. Without that, you will not get any "3d" which will then know when you are is heading up a hill or down a hill.

Can someone post a picture of what it should look like if your 3D is working?

It's basically the same thing, but the speed pulse line will have a number in it (usually kind of high) and instead of "Simple Hybrid" it will say "3d Hybrid".
