Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has installed a backup camera on a Ford F150. Any bumps in the road? Where did you come in with the cable?

On another note, how does everyone feel about a 2.4Ghz wireless back up camera? Any input is appreciated.

go with a wired one. when i had my 06 f150, i ran it through the large grommet that is above the gas/brake pedal. if you look near the brake booster, in the engine compartment, you will see it. i ran it along the frame rails and ziptied it to the factory wiring. get a nice creeper and you'll be able to do it fine. little tip.....wear safety goggles!! i offroaded in my f150 a lot so a lot of dirt kept falling in my face...the googles worked!

Thanks for your reply!

Is there an ACC wire near the camera? How did you power it?

i ran a power wire with the rca and powered it with the acc from behind the radio. just tape them together and then run both wires in split loom
