Will the XDV-P6 work with the d3 or f900bt?

You will have to run it in standalone mode and run it in through the A/V input. All controls done from the remote

Can the ip bus be used for the music changer part? And will the remote function work if the changer is in the back part of the car? Thanks!

Nope, the F series isn't compatible with either of the Pioneer CD changers or the DVD changer which is the main gripe I have with the F series. I miss my CD changer. The CD changer and I believe the DVD changer are compatible with the D3

I found that you can connect it to the D3 w/ ip bus aslong as you also connect the yellow vid input.....
I may try getting a p9 also!
