This maybe a stupid question? But what does full cockpit mode do??

Turn it on can't see a difference?

It turns off the route info box in the lower left hand corner. If you want it off, you have to do it every time since it resets to the off position once you turn the vehicle off.

I was hoping it was something a bit more interesting.

Like on other sat navs you can have what I would describe as a cockpit view.

Don't tell me the F900 has it and i just haven't found it???

For whatever reason, Pioneer took out the Trip Computer screen (it's default part of iGO navigation software). People are working on getting it back, though...
