So what are the upgrades on the new 9140 and 7140 that will make it better than the 8120? Will the new upgrades justify the wait time and price? If anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated as i am looking to purchase very soon and want to do my research before making it final. thanks

Other than the Garmin nav I don't see anything remarkably different than the Z3. Hopefully the iPod interface is as fast as the F series.

Lots of stuff better than the Z if you read the literature. Better ipod and bluetooth, with voice recognition over those two sources. Built-in 5.1 w/ time alignment. HD Radio ready. WVGA screen. Multi color illumination. Etc.
Its basically the Z1 with four years newer technology, which is exactly what Pioneer needs to release if they want to battle
This basically is the AVN headunit for the person that wants all of the features, but also cares about SQ. It's a competitor to the IVA-W505 with Imprint kit.
If you don't care about that much built-in processing go with the 7140 and you'll have nearly the same feature set.
