No incoming call notice

installed the 700 in an 02 civic this weekend

paired the cell phone and transfered contacts and can make outgoing calls. THE problem is no incoming call alert or anything. according to the manual there should be a pop up with accept, reject, and volume. i get nothing. the radio volume does NOT cut out and the phone itself just sits there and rings.

I am trying to figure out if this is just one of the many compatibility issues or if i need to exchange the unit.

Phone is LG LX-160 (Flare)

I have reflashed bluetooth 3.3 (even tried flashing 2.9 with same issue)

I have paired and re-paired.

tried deleting contacts, no help.

any ideas?

I reckon it may be your phone. I have a LG KF750 and have no probs with pairing/connecting and making/recieving calls. Check in your phone BT settings that your Navi is set to 'always connect', that may help.

thanks for the response. The phone is connected. I just can't get to the bottom of this. the unit says it has 2.0 on it but no orange dot by the serial number, just a blue dot. maybe i should re update the main software then update the bluetooth and try again. i am not too thrilled at this point. thanks again.

I have a BB8330, and it sometimes does this. Its flaky as hell.

BB8330 works perfectly on my Murano's OEM Bluetooth though.
