Updated maps, mp3 DVD support. Anyone hear anything yet if an when an update will be made available?

Next year after the Z2 is out. They update the maps every year, no idea on the mp3 dvd support

I have actually heard that the difference will be only software and not hardware. Will know for sure after SEMA the first week of November

Curious what would happen to the pre-June 2006 "flashing" workaround...if they disable that, would they "enable" the wire-ground method? Or would the early adopters be totally screwed....
Time will tell...
