I have the F500BT & as we all know it shows 3D direction up & 2D North up. I emailed them about if & when they will have a firmware available with direction up in 2D, there answer was no plans for it. As a matter of fact, Pablo the rep who emailed me mixed up the 2D & 3D in the reply. I was hoping that there would be an option for direction up in 2D.

first off, the reps at the call center dont know jack diddly regarding updates, not a thing they are as in the dark as we are. they had no clue the 2.0 update was coming and were shocked when I called saying there were issues. So I don't belive a word they say in fact, i just avoid them at all costs and just assume or hope another update is coming, if not, guess i will just live with the unit as is and eventually replace it with something better. I will however be very careful, and throughly review and understand what im getting and not get a 1.0 version. But like most I am one of those gotta have the most expensive coolest and greatest gadget available, and don't really care about the reality.

Owell, lets hope there is at least one more update coming, but im not going to hold my breath.
