I have the ipod video (classic one) and it seems like it takes 30-50 secs to load a small video, is that normal? or maybe cuz its old it does that, how about the ipod touch

No that's not normal. It should load up right away. Maybe something wrong w/the iPod. Try comatible iPod and test it out.
