I see there is finally a map update for the Z2 drive based units. It looks like there is an online activation required. I've searched the threads but can't find any information on if this can be bypassed or if we must order via Pioneer.

Ideas?

There is not currently a way to bypass the online registration. See this thread for updating the Z2 to Z3:
