I have a D3 that was custom installed about a year ago. I would like to install the bypass, but I have never done anything like that before and have a big fear of really messing things up. Is there anyone in the area who would be willing to do this?

If you have the ability to remove the head unit then the bypass should not be an issue for you. If you don't think you can remove the head unit then I would be a good idea to get some help. All of the write ups on this forum make the bypass a really easy task to perform.

It's removing the head unit that worries me. I'm alittle nervous about getting into the dash of my car. I've never done that and don't have the tools, etc. I don't think the bypass itself would be a problem, all the instructions here are very detailed.
