i tried playing back a quick time movie (MOV) from my SD card. I could hear the audio, but i could not see any video. I searched through the forum and the Pioneer manual and could not figure out what is possibly wrong. I have a HD video camera, and i tried playing back both HD video and low resolution video, and still no picture, but i still have audio. I also upgraded to the latest version of the software. please let me know any suggestions,

yes, i did the hardware bypass. i also tested it and it works fine. i am able to redo my navigation while driving.

aghh, figured it out. It was the wrong format for the video. I tried this test AVI and it worked:

now i guess this leads me to wonder how to convert video files from DVDs so that the AVIC will play them
