How is the GPS reception and battery performance of F500BT

But substitute 'really crap' for 'bad'

i think the battery problem is general problem of GPS devices.

Lets talk about GPS reception. What is general cold start time? Generally it will take 30 seconds. What about f500bt?

The battery problem is even more of a problem when you have a 5.8" WVGA screen instead of a 3" shitty one like most portable navs

I can get a whole day too............ get up in morning, disconnect charger, turn 500 off, go to work, arrive home, turn 500 on, reconnect charger - brilliant

Seriously tho, the massive screen does take a lot of power, but surely it should have been equipped with a larger battery

battery of f500bt is replaceable?

i heard somewhere if you discharge and charge battery 5 times it will be as its first day. After that it will last long as first day.

And please say me when i get in the car how will it take to begin navigation generally? will i be have any problem about GPS reception?

Not a prob as I use it only in my car, and thats got a much bigger battery
