BAck Up camera 900bt mirrored /upside down boyo VTL40

ETA: NEVERMIND IT WAS INSTALLED UPSIDE DOWN

I have the 900bt

Today I had the Boyo VTL400 installed (as well as my stereo.)

The image comes up UPSIDE DOWN, as I found out by looking at my husbands upside down face. So, did the installer install it upside down or am i missing something? everything on the right is on the left and vice versa.

ETA: any ideas as how to fix this or did they REALLY install my cam upside down?

HAHA, I'm sorry for laughing, I've done the same thing.

The camera is upside down so if its a BOYO like you say then just unscrew the two screws holding it to the license plate and flip it over.

That should fix the issue.

Yea, but I paid a place to install, so you can imagine my annoyance level!!!!

Yea i understand, they should have checked obviously didn't or didn't pay enough attention to realize it was upside down.

bring it back and they should fix the issue, if not call the better business bureau. then you'll get what you want.

BBB is a joke! All it does is allow business' to slap that sticker on and pretend they are something special.

OP, before I opened the post I thought it was installed upside down :lol:

I understand your frustration though. If you paid someone to do it you think they would check their work :roll:

At least it's an easy fix.
