Does the bt lineup have a special microphone? i want to know if my 2009 onstar microphone will work on a avic? does that mic even plug into the radio? sry i'm a n00b, and will be until i purchase and do the install

Just soldered a fitting 2.5mm mini jack to the already built in NOKIA MFH-8 mic (previous carkit install) which was installed in my car.

Any regular un-powered and non-phantom mic will work I guess.

The Nokia mic works great and does a better job then the mickey-mouse mic that came with the AVIC.
