I was trying to find the local Walmart and ended up 85 miles East in the middle of the damn Anza Borrego desert. Does someone want to explain how that happened???

Try following Mapquest's directions and see how the unit reacts.
Out of curiosity, how far is your local Wal*Mart? 85 miles in the wrong direction is, a bit far...
I was just kidding guys... I made my way out to the Ocotillo Wells OHV area yesterday. It was a fun trip because I started at the beach (65 degrees), drove up through Julian at 4200 feet (50 degrees)and saw snow and then down the other side of the mountain to the dessert where it was nearly 80 degrees.
The nav worked perfectly and amazingly, the area out in the OHV was even covered in the maps. There are several trails that were shown.
I was just kidding guys...
