Installing The Changed Data Zip for Bybass Questions

Once i got the INI file changed, what is the process of getting it to the SDcard, such as...Do I put the whole data zip file on the sdcard or do i unzip it, then put it on the sdcard, or is it just a certain file from the data zip file i put on the sdcard? The once the info is on the SDcard how do i go about installing it on the stereo? ANY REPLIES ARE APPERICIATED.

use 7zip to edit and modify the file search google for the software

never decompress data.zip only use 7zip to modify the current archive

search for testmode and put those files on the sd card

use windows explorer on the avic to copy to your folder

I thought all I needed to do was edit the data zip parking brake file to 128 or 256 within winrar then save it. Then somehow get to the sdcard by means of a sd card reader or camrea.What i was asking is if you have to unzip the file onto the sdcard or you just plain put the zip onto the sd card and walah! Then put it in the sdcard in the slot on the stereo and turn on your stereo and it reads automatically. Im guessing it isnt that simple?What does testmode have to do with editing the firmware 2.0 download data zip.And how do i get to windows mode on the stereo?

You mean, Voila!... right?

You need to have testmode on the SD card in order to reach win CE. Without reaching CE, there is nothing to copy to.

Is there a process of someone explaining how to do that, like step by step copy of the file to the sdcard to the stereo extc... im a noob to this stuff btw, i am computer savy but not stereo savy lol. I did the change of the ini file which was cake but i need to know how to get it to the stereo

You need to return the file the exact same way as you got it.

Just copy it back to the Avic and overwrite it.

Take the SD card out, and reboot.

To the Data Zip.But i havent got it working with the iphone yet, i get audio just no video, someone stated in a another post that they could watch youtube and play game apps on their 700bt as well is that true? Also what options in GPS werent available before the bypass so i know what should be available now compared to what wasnt available while in motion?
