Best Buy/Pioneer to discontinue AVIC-F900BT?? the guy at a local BBY said that they are discontinuing the 900 because pioneer is getting rid of the model. Is there something new comming out in its place? what am I missing.

I wouldn't be surprised if they discontinued the 900bt and only have the 700bt to 90bt. Maybe pioneer will try and relaunch the F series with another software update... or not. who knows. Would it be cheaper for pioneer to just improve the F-series instead of developing a new product?

I really could care less. My 700bt is being installed next week.

After speeking with the Pioneer Rep for 35 minutes, He stated the same thing, that the f900bt will be discontinued and that the release of the F90bt was an early attempt to do this but, there is a new unit slated for late April '09 to officially replace the F900bt.

ok good so Im not going crazy...

thanks for the update... I wonder want the new unit will be like.
