Is the rear power connector the same for US and European versions of the AVIC-F series?

Thanks!

These things go by ISO. Fitting plugs come with the unit, you just need to attached your own harness to it, by soldering, or using cable clamps or something. (regardless US or EU model)

Just buy the damn thing!

I'm buying a Pioneer interface made for the car that I own to be compatible with the buttons on my steering wheel. The car is manufactured in Europe (its exclusive for european people) and I'm buying a F700BT from US. I'm afraid that the connector on the interface doesn't match with the power connector on the US version of the AVIC-F700BT

The remote signals go through 1 wire or a seperate plug if I'm correct.

Since you want to hack the bypass anyhow, a finished connector to your current harness wouldn't be too smart, and I doubt if they excist.

Anyhow, the power plug is ISO

the speakerplug is Pioneer (with loose leads / connectors)

the black one will fit, the brown one won't.

You could cut off the brown conenctor en re-solder the leads to the AVIC leads. (they are unconnected anyhow)

You could also check out the PAC SWI P from pacaudio(.com)

or the Pioneer adapter 192.

They both will most likely work as well.

And you have checked that the US-version navi WILL work in europe?

Cause all the other Pioneers dont...

You dont have to solder anything on the euromodels :) Just plug and play. Depending on what car youve got...you might need an ISO to "your-car-make" adapto aswell.

Both the black and the brown are ISO-standard.

All people say that a unit bought in US works in Europe. It only needs to have the worldwide licence for the maps of europe to work. Right?

And the interface that I posted above is the one Pionner built for the Nissan model that I drive.
