I am unhappy with the 'new' location i chose....how in the %$^% do you reset this?

you can just modify it again.

yes, of course, you CAN modify it again.... but, unless you reset it, you will not be exactly where the GPS wants to put you by default..... i want the default values....

I am failing to see how resetting a default value would be beneficial. I live in Ohio and the default value for me was L.A.

Just find a location where you are positive of where you are at and the direction and modify it again to be precise.

Anything other than that and the navigation will be off.

Or do you have another motivating factor?

it would be beneficial in fine-tuning when the damned voice prompt will tell you of upcoming turns...

So, i gather from the alternatives, that i am not mistaken in thinking there is no way to reset the value to default?
