AVIC F700BT Install Questions

Just picked up a F700 for install in my Vette. I had a D1 and understand it will largely be a plug and go, with exception of swapping out harnesses. A couple of questions if anyone can help me:

1. I was running my IPod with a ipod2car. I understand I can dump this and run directly to the HU, but I'll need a cable: CD-IU230v, which I understand runs from the back of the HU. All correct?

2. I want to keep my stock Bose speakers. I have a Peripheral unit GMAH24B. Will that do the trick for the F700BT? Do I need to modify (cut into the harness) for any reason?

3. I kept my Pioneer GEX-P920XM tuner. May I use that with the new HU?

Thanks.....I really appreciate the input and guidance from the pros.

1 yes dump the ipod2car and get either the pioneer CD-IU230v or the apple cable with a dock connector on one side and usb + audio and video RCA's on the other side, yes back of the HU

2 if you used the harness for the D1 it will work for the F700bt, all the audio connections will be the same (the harnesses may be different)

3 yes

4 what year vette? (just curious)
