I have an older sirius tuner box, a SIR-PNR if I remember right. It worked great with my DEH-P6500, but I've heard it won't work with my navi now? It has the same ip-bus plug, but someone said newer devices don't recognize it?

Is that true? Do I really need to buy a newer sirius unit again?

just to second it, I e-mail pioneer and asked them. They said yes it will work. I installed mine last night, works fine.

I use the SIR-PNR on a AVIC-f90bt and it work perfect. Just make sure you plug your ip-bus cable into the black plug on your Sat Radio Tuner and not the blue one.
