I just ordered an AVIC-F700BT for my '09 Nissan Versa and plan on installing it myself. I also ordered an 8GB SDHC card to use in it (hope it works).

 

I have some questions about it though...

 

1. I am a neat freak and have all my music organized by Artist Name -> Album Name -> ## - Title.mp3 with album images. If I drag these over to the SDHC like that, will the AVIC display album images and will I be able to easily navigate by artist and album name?

 

2. Will I be able to easily select a Shuffle/Random feature to play randomly from all artists and albums? When I had a previous Pioneer unit that played MP3 from CDs it seemed it could only random-play from one specific folder, and not the entire CD at once.

 

3. The voice commands will only work with an iPod and not SDHC, CD-R, or any other source, correct?

 

That's pretty much it. Basically I just want to be able to shuffle a large portion of my music library and have it so that artist, album, and track title all appear on screen so if my friends like the music they can easily see what it is.

Its probably easier to just get it, install it and try it out yourself then to explain in detail how it works.

 

Basically it works like playing a file from your computer, it plays by directories, with the basic tag information displayed, granted I use an ipod and not the sd card, but I doubt anyone will respond and take the time to go into detail ike this, just try it out, using it will answer all your qestions.
