So i did the bypass, I then inserted dvd and error came up saying front screen cant display picture, I reset the unit and still no movie picture will display inmotion or parked??!!!

You did something wrong doing the bypass. Check it all again vs the instructions

maybe you didnt get the wire seated in the new position all the way

it sounds like you didnt ground the parking break wire
