No I put my parking brake on I tha navi settings and system settings and my address option and phone settings

Which settings are you unable to get too? The AVIC is a little weird and for example won't let you change the navigation mute/attn setting unless your audio source is set to off. There are some other settings that act in odd ways too.

Ok like with my parkin brake on when j got to the main screen then destination the address icon is gray but the poi not and when I got to settings my navi and system settings is grey but not my av sound and av settings and my phone settings are grey why am I having this probelm I just got it installed yesterday
