Does the "menu button" on the screen wheel function like a back button or does it always revert to the top of the list?

Does skipping a track in shuffle mode play the next song in the list like it does with an MP3 disk or does it truly play a random song next?

Are there any plans to add the "Smooth scrolling" and "Link Play" features that are available on the new 2009 models?

This one is a bit tricky and technically works but only once.

So, you start playing an album and you can tap menu and it will take you back to song list and from there if you tap the back arrow you will end up at album list and so on. Now, if you tap menu and you just go back to iPod, next time you tap menu it will no longer go back to song but rather to either list of albums of artists - I can't remember.

At least it does that on mine.
