Is there a mod that allows the map to rotate around the arrow instead of the top of the map always representing north? Most other Nav systems tend to it this way.

You need to have a co-driver to rotate you Avic as needed.

But seriously, look around there are plenty of threads on the topic. There is no solution for it other than using 3D mode and tilting the view.

I thought I read a fix for it, using 3D and some coding. It keeps the view vertical and shrinks the arrow.

Once you are in Route, if the arrow isn't following the map (i.e. the map remains still but the arrow moves off the screen) just press the map button again and away you go. I had to ask here about the same thing.
