Today I received my Pioneer Avic F700bt and got it installed professionally but my navi and system settings are greyed out.
Do they work when you're stopped with your parking brake on? if so they are functioning properly.
Do they not work even when stopped with the parking brake on? then they didn't install it correctly.
The key phrase for *you* to use to change that behavior is "bypass" and the "Hardware Bypass for Dummies" thread. An installer may offer to do a bypass, but they are not supposed to do it, there are legal and safety ramifications.
