i would like to use the stock xm antenna ,does any one know if it will work?

There's a 90% chance that it will. I've seen a couple write-ups on installing your own add-on XM box where the person doing the install just used the stock antenna.

I know you posted this a long time ago, but I can say with certainty that the factory antenna will work. You'll just need to cut a small groove on the receiver's antenna connector for a tab on the factory antenna and it will fit right in and work.
