I originally purchased a standard pioneer cd player for my car. Along with that I purchased am iPod cable which worked great for playing music. I have recently upgraded the CD player to the Pioneer D3, this same cable fits in the back of that but it doesn't play video. Which cable(s) do I need to purchase to get an iPod to play videos? Also I am under the understanding that I need to have an iPod Video gen 5 or 5.5 or get an iPod Classic and downgrade the firmware version to 1.02 or something of that nature. Any and all help would be much appreciated. Please try to be as specific as possible in any responses.

Thanks,

Eric

you need the CD-I200 cable. just go to ebay and type in "d3 ipod" and you will see what cable you need.

yes you need 5th generation ipod starting with the 60GB ipod Video.
