so i picked up a z1 reflashed to a z3 with a 60g hdd. (i previously owned just a reg z1) and so i searched a few pages already and cant find the diy on how to upload pics for it. after reading the z3 diy im guessing theirs no way to do it off boot cds?

What sort of pictures ???

If you read the manual, you'll see that you can load different startup screens and backrounds on the Z3 from CD/DVD, if that's what you mean.....
