First of all, THANKS to all who contribute to this site. I installed my 700 last week with the hardware bypass with zero problems. Installation was made much easier via this site. Being a computer geek, hacking custom settings will be next.

So my question is... would the navigation screen show up on an external monitor? My wife loves to drive from the back seat of my conversion van and if I could, I would connect a rear TV monitor. I understand that resolution may not be great, but usable.

I emailed the same question to Pioneer over a week ago..... No response.

The F-series is not dual zone so whatever is on the main unit will show on the external monitor if I am not mistaken.

I have 900BT and I could watch movie on the external monitor while main screen display navigation map.
