This will boggle most anyone...Installed an F700BT yesterday in a 1999 BMW 328i...It looks amazing!

The radio plays and sounds great...The nav system works fantasic! I did the firmware update and reset. The BIG problem is the nothing else seems to work perfectly. The IPOD connects and shows all of the information on the screen and you can navigate through the menus...Same with an SD card and even with an MP3 or store bought CD...EXCEPT NO SOUND on anything except AM and FM. I have checked the audio input for AV1 and it reads IPOD. Surely someone has experianced this before...HELP!

You hooked up the power antenna wire instead of the system remote control wire. You can either tear it out and fix it, or go into the menu and change the ANT CNTL setting to power (you will have to do this every time you reset it or your car battery is disconnected)

You are a GENIUS! That was it...Now try this one...I have a Blackberry Curve 8330 verizon...I can't get it to find my phone or the other way around...the Curve can not find the F700...Any suggestions?

I have a similar problem. Suddenly the sound from my ipod and from the SD card stopped working after stopping the car to go into a store. CD/AM/FM still work perfectly as does everything else. I tried the ANT CTRL setting you mentioned above, but didn't help. Double-checked the wiring and it's correct, too.
