I got this like 3 times. I **think** it might be in the visual settings I did today.

WHat do you guys think??

Thanx for the help,

It looked like it was in the hacked EZRIDER file. Once I put back in the old one and backed out the REALVIEW-V6 files it worked fine. :D

This isn't a scientific way to get to the root of it :) You need to back things out one by one...

Since I have the hacked EZRider _and_ RealView 6, I know they _should_ wotrk together.

Did you get any on-screen error messages before it rebooted? Most color schemes available here require that you copy one file from one directory inside DATA.ZIP to another before night schemes start working...

Hi (All hail...) Boris!

You are the master of this universe :D

Thanx for the reply.

I had put in all of the separate Realview-V6 files from your post and added them separately into the HU. I was able to scroll thrugh them and I was playing with them at lunchtime yesterday. I checked the addition of the two .spr files and they already reside in the directory so I was good there. I added a hacked EZrider file from one of the downloaded ZIP files, I believe it was "IRZIP" that I downloaded here. I had also added some extra .gfx files to the DATAZIP/GFX folder as well but that I am sure is not causing any problems. I also added a couple of licenses to the existing LICENSE folder because I added all of the 3D files earlier. When I drove home the maps worked just fine. I figured I'd go out and try the nighttime ones (I had it set to automatic..duh) and that is when the problems started. When I pulled the "MY Flash Disk" out of the HU to look it over on my PC I saw that it had started to make a crash log

There were three of these entries. So I started to back out the added schemes and put back in the original EZRIDER and now it is okay once again.

What do you think happened??

I really want to play with different schemes and I hope it does not happen again.

Thanx!

Hmmm... That's a strange one... Unfortunately, crash log usually is understandable only by NavNGo (Navi software developers). If the problem is with color schemes, iGO will throw a warning dialog box on screen before shutting down, and that would have more useful information.

I would suggest this:

1. Back out to a working configuration (done)

2. Make sure you have copied correct BMP/SPR files to Night subdirectory

3. Add color schemes and make sure they still work

4. Add hacked EZRider...

Can you provide me a known, good hacked EZRIDER?

Thanx!

I'm just using the one that was posted here... I guess you could try re-downloading it, just in case...
