What is the latest Firmware for the D3. Is it installed if you are using the latest Nav disc?

Bump. Also wondering if a release has been made on D3 firmware or software since the initial launch. Thanks.

The latest nav disc will update the firmware.

If I can get just the East disc, does that upgrade the firmware as well, or just my local maps? Do you need both E & W to do the firmware? I can get the East or W disc on ebay for $25, but have no use for the W.

Yes the East disc will perform the firmware update -- I only bought the East disc and it worked for me.
