And I've read and I've read the forums. I'm still on the fence about an F90 and would appreciate any input. In spite of all the reported problems I've read about there are enough people with good functioning units and I love the interface of the F series that I'm still trying to talk myself into one. Especially at the price they can be had. I do like the Kenwood 8120 and am only really considering that because of the audio features. 3 band eq vs 13 band eq on the Kenwood and time alignment on the Kenwood. I want this more for sound quality than anything else but would also like a nice looking HU. The voice command on the Pio is very appealing to me. My iPod is loaded with lossless files and I'm using RF amps with component speakers. My old Pio Premier had all the audio bells and whistles and sounded great. Is the F90 gonna be a big step down in the sound quality dept with no time alignment and only a 3 band eq?

I can't speak really for the added SQ of the kenwood as I bought these units (bought two) for the in-dash navi and ipod control ...

I talked myself into the F90bt's b/c i was on the fence just like you are ...

I basically could not justify another $500-600 (x2 for my two vehicles) for the better Kenwood unit (plus the extra BT adapter, navi module, etc... jeez) and a few bugs here and there, slightly slower load-up.. is just fine with me.

These are a lot of bang for the buck right now around $550 shipped -- however, at $1200 (MSRP) i would not go this route...
