I receive my 90BT today. I already have the PAC c2r-vw, SWI-CAN and the SWI-PS components, but I have a question on the wiring: (edit: By the way, this is going into a 2007 VW GTI)

 

In the directions for the c2r-vw component, it has a group of wires that are marked "Not used for Steering wheel control." In the directions for this piece, we are told to wire these up to the corresponding wires on the HU. That makes sense.

 

On the SWI-CAN module that plugs into the C2R-VW, there is a set of wires that are the same color as the above piece and are also marked "Not used for Steering wheel control". However, the directions do not mention what to do with these wires.

 

What do I do with these wires on the SWI-CAN? Do I wire them up to the HU as well? Do I insulate and leave them alone?

 

Anyone that used these modules, can you let me know what you did with the loose wires on each?
